Toothpaste strengthens teeth, cares for gums, and leaves your mouth feeling well-groomed. Brushing twice a day is the foundation of good oral health. Also, make sure you eat a low-sugar, healthy diet and drink sugar-free beverages like water or unsweetened tea.

Use the toothpaste 2 to 3 times a day. Spit out the toothpaste after brushing and rinse with water if desired. Avoid swallowing the toothpaste.

For children up to 6 years of age: Use only a pea-sized amount of toothpaste. To avoid excessive swallowing, brush teeth only under supervision. Consult a dentist or doctor if additional fluoride is ingested.
