My great love for teeth

Xylitol the sugar substitute
Xylitol is a sugar substitute used both for consumption and as an additive in oral hygiene. In addition to its properties as a sweetener, xylitol has special health benefits that make it ideal for use in dental care. Xylitol, also known as xylitol (pentanepentol), belongs to the group of sugar alcohols, like lactitol and sorbitol. Unlike synthetic sweeteners such as aspartame, xylitol is originally a natural substance that occurs in many plants and in humans during sugar metabolism.

This changes everything
As an additive in chewing gum or our Xylinettes, its dental care effect is already a primary consideration, in addition to its use as a food. Unlike conventional sugar, xylitol is not converted into acidic substances in the oral flora. The adverse effects of sugar, such as increased tooth decay, brittle teeth, or bad breath, that result from acid formation are completely eliminated. On the contrary, xylitol even has antibacterial properties, and researchers were already able to demonstrate a very effective reduction in tooth decay in humans through the use of xylitol in the 1970s.

So sustainable that it crackles
Everything is transient. Even Dr. Bauer's biofilm is impermanent. Petroleum-free and made from 100% naturally renewable raw materials, our packaging film is completely biodegradable. It simply decomposes into water, carbon dioxide, and biomass.
